  • lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cubed

  • 4 large Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)

  • 1 cup beef broth (low-sodium)

  • 1 medium onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Sear Steak: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pat steak dry, sear 2-3 mins until browned.

  2. Layer It Up: In slow cooker, layer half the potatoes, onions, steak, cheddar, and seasonings. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
