Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked al dente

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain fat.

  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant (1 minute).

  • Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

  • In a bowl, mix ranch dressing, Parmesan, and crumbled bacon.

  • Spread a little marinara on the bottom of a 9×13″ baking dish.

  • Layer noodles, meat sauce, bacon-ranch mix, mozzarella. Repeat until done.

  • Top with mozzarella. Cover with foil.

  • Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil, bake another 10 minutes.

  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Cook Noodles Just Right: Boil the lasagna noodles until just al dente (firm to the bite). This prevents them from getting mushy while baking.

  • Make-Ahead Friendly: You can prepare the whole lasagna a day in advance, store it in the fridge, and just bake when ready. It actually tastes even better after the flavors sit overnight!

  • Crispy Bacon Boost: Use thick-cut bacon for an extra crispy texture and smoky flavor that stands out in every bite.

  • Cheese Swap Option: Love it creamier? Try adding a little ricotta cheese between layers or use a blend of mozzarella and cheddar for more cheeseburger flair.

  • Garlic Lovers’ Secret: For an extra garlic punch, roast a head of garlic and mash it into the sauce before layering.

  • Freezing Tip: Assemble but don’t bake if freezing. Wrap tightly and freeze. When ready, thaw overnight and bake as directed.

  • Let It Rest: Don’t skip the resting time after baking. It helps the lasagna hold its shape when sliced and makes serving easier.
