  • Total Time: 45 mins

Chewy, crunchy, salty-sweet bites of peanut butter bliss dipped in chocolate and topped with candy eyes – these monster clusters are fun to make, scary good to eat, and guaranteed to disappear faster than you can say “boo!” No oven, no stress, all YUM.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Magic:

  • 1½ cups honey

  • ½ cup maple syrup

  • 2½ cups creamy peanut butter

  • 6 cups corn flakes

  • 4 cups brown rice krispies

Chocolate Coating:

  • 1624 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate

  • 12 oz white chocolate (optional for drizzle)

Monster Decor:

  • Candy eyes

  • Black sprinkles (or sub with mini M&Ms/choc chips)

Instructions

  • Melt base: In a large pot on low heat, stir honey, maple syrup, and peanut butter until smooth and bubbly (3–5 mins).

  • Mix cereal: Remove from heat. Fold in corn flakes and rice krispies gently until coated.

  • Form clusters: Scoop 2-Tbsp mounds onto parchment-lined trays. Press lightly. Chill 10–15 mins.

  • Dip & drizzle: Melt dark chocolate, dip clusters halfway. Drizzle with melted white chocolate.

  • Decorate: Quickly add candy eyes and sprinkles while chocolate is still wet.

  • Set: Let harden at room temp (30 mins) or chill briefly.

Notes

  • Spray measuring cup for honey – no sticking!

  • For nut-free version, sub sunflower seed butter.

  • Add crushed pretzels or mini marshmallows for extra fun.

  • Handle clusters gently when dipping – they’re tender monsters!
