Ingredients

1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and diced

⅓ cup granulated sugar

1 cup cold whole milk (or any milk you love)

Instructions

Simmer strawberries & sugar over medium heat for 5–8 mins until soft and syrupy. Cool completely.

Layer it up: Spoon syrup into the bottom of a clear glass, add ice if using.

Pour milk gently over the back of a spoon to keep the layers distinct.
