  • 2 tbsp butter, divided

  • 6 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari)

  • 1 tbsp seasoned rice vinegar

  • ⅓ cup honey

  • Kosher salt & black pepper

  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)


Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Chicken: Pat dry. Pound to even thickness. Season flour with salt & pepper, dredge chicken, shake off excess.
2️⃣ Sear: Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 4–5 mins per side until golden & cooked through. Transfer out, keep warm.
3️⃣ Make Sauce: Melt remaining butter. Sauté garlic 1 min. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and honey. Simmer 3–5 mins until thick enough to coat a spoon.
4️⃣ Finish: Return chicken to skillet. Spoon sauce over, simmer 2 mins. Rest 3 mins. Garnish with green onions.
