Description

Hey soup squad! Harper here with the easiest, dreamiest bowl of cozy you’ll ever whip up on a tired night. Think pillowy dumplings, a savory sesame-soy broth, and bright green spinach all simmered to soul-hugging perfection — in just 15 minutes. No fuss, no stress, just pure slurpable joy. Ready to transform your freezer stash into a hug in a bowl? Let’s simmer!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups vegetable broth (or chicken/mushroom)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • ¼ tsp fish sauce (optional)

  • 1 green onion, sliced (whites & greens separated)

  • 10 frozen dumplings (pork, chicken, or veggie)

  • ½ cup fresh spinach (or bok choy, kale)

Optional Toppings:

  • ½ tsp toasted sesame seeds

  • 1 tbsp chili crisp or sriracha

Instructions

1️⃣ In a medium pot, combine broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce (if using) & green onion whites. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-high for 2–3 mins.
2️⃣ Add frozen dumplings. Cover, reduce to medium-low & simmer 5 mins. Don’t stir yet!
3️⃣ Stir in spinach & cook 1–2 mins until just wilted.
4️⃣ Ladle into bowls, top with green onion greens, sesame seeds & chili crisp. Slurp & smile!

Notes

  • Add shredded chicken or shrimp for extra protein.

  • Whisk in 1 tbsp miso paste at the end for deeper umami.

  • Make it Thai-inspired with coconut milk & lime juice!

  • Use fresh dumplings — reduce cook time to 3–4 mins.
