Description

Crunchy, spicy-sweet chicken meets classic Caesar—this Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Caesar Salad is the ultimate flavor remix when you’re craving cozy AND bold. Juicy fried chicken drizzled in sticky hot honey, crisp romaine, creamy dressing, and a Parmesan snowfall—it’s the weeknight upgrade you never knew you needed but won’t want to live without!


Ingredients

  • 2 organic chicken breasts, sliced thin

  • ½ cup arrowroot starch

  • ½ cup cassava flour (or all-purpose)

  • 1 tsp each: garlic powder, chili powder, smoked paprika, onion powder

  • 1 egg + splash hot sauce

  • ½ cup avocado oil (or ghee)

  • ¼ cup hot sauce

  • ⅓ cup honey

  • 1 head romaine, chopped

  • ½ cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)

  • ½ cup Parmesan, freshly grated

  • Croutons for crunch

  • Salt & black pepper


Instructions

1️⃣ Slice & Prep: Halve chicken breasts lengthwise (¼-inch thick). Pat dry.
2️⃣ Dredge: Mix starch, flour, spices, salt, and pepper. Beat egg with hot sauce. Dip chicken in egg, dredge in flour blend. Press to coat. Rest 5 mins.
3️⃣ Sear: Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. When hot, cook chicken 3–4 mins per side until golden & cooked through. Rest on rack.
4️⃣ Hot Honey: Mix honey + hot sauce. Drizzle over hot chicken.
5️⃣ Assemble: Pile romaine in bowls. Top with sliced chicken, drizzle Caesar dressing, scatter croutons & Parmesan. Extra hot honey on the side!

Notes

  • Keep chicken dry for max crunch.

  • Air-fry instead: 400°F for 10–12 mins.

  • Not a heat fan? Halve the chili powder & hot sauce.

  • Try crispy tofu for a veggie twist!
