1 cup chopped broccoli (fresh or frozen)

1 cup jasmine rice (rinsed)

2 cups chicken or veggie broth (low-sodium)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar (freshly shredded!)

Heat It Up: In a deep skillet, warm oil & butter over medium heat. Swirl to coat.

Broccoli Time: Sauté broccoli 2-3 mins until vibrant green. Fresh? Steam 2 mins first. Frozen? Straight in!

Toast the Rice: Add rice & garlic powder. Stir constantly for 1-2 mins until rice turns slightly translucent.
